05/01/2006: "SYDNEY HARBOUR SHARK SCARE"

The underwater picture appeared in the Sydney newspaper The Sun as a page 3 warning of sharks in Sydney Harbour. It was said to have been photographed at Camp Cove beach, which was not true.

Located just inside South Head, Camp Cove is barely visible in the top picture.

A shark-proof enclosure was constructed at this harbour beach thirty years later!
