20/12/2006: "Fathom 2 ...... Ron Isbel and his charter boat SEA HUNT"

Launched in 1968 Sea Hunt catered for snorkel divers within the Capricorn and Bunker Group offshore from Gladstone. It was several years before Sea Hunt installed an air compressor for scuba tanks.

Similtaneously (in 1971) Captain Wally Muller of Coralita was organising the first of many Coral Sea expeditions. On board, an air compressor and free air - very popular in this era of expensive air fills. It set a trend and free unlimited air fills became a standard that remains today.
