06/08/2007: "HISTORIC SHIPWRECK SITE 'Fatima' at Great Detached Reef"

Wreckage used to be scattered across the top of the reef in a line behind the twin anchors. A recent cyclone has blown most of these tiny pieces that once existed into sandy shallows on the lagoon side of the reef. Lynn Roberts spotted a 200 year-old iron bar.
