09/08/2007: "GREAT DETACHED REEF ...... 'weather side'"

Showing the lush 'wall-to-wall' corals in the surf zone on the eastern side of the reef.

Millions of tiny aquarium fish live here too, a really beautiful location requiring an often difficult swim through surf.

Note how the color changes to blue (in the distance) just as it does with vertical depth.
