Recent DNA testing has found a link between Taiwan aboriginies and inhabitants of New Zealand and many Pacific Islands throwing new light on the origin of the polynesian culture.
This picture is from one of the few true Polynesian Atolls of the Western Pacific, unspoiled by tourism (in August 1969).
