Note:Two dorsal fins, of almost equal size is the formula to remember.
Others with two dorsals include Nurse/Tawney; Lemon shark; shovel-nose ray. This simple guide will help avoid confusion between the faster swimming sharks and the Grey Nurse shark (above).
In South Africa the same shark is known as Ragged-tooth shark; elsewhere Sand tiger shark.
