The professional boats arrive in time for the 3pm daily fish market. Buy fresh. Have a nearby restaurant cook it for you. A Lunar-tail coral trout with vegetables and rice would be sufficient for five persons.
Better than Doyles at Watson's Bay or the Bondi Surf Fish shop take-away in Sydney, but the inescapable aroma of domestic pigs between the railway station and the harbour (about 3km) could be avoided with cab ride.
