Some of the blocks ended up crashing into the marina on the other side. The first time that has happened in fifty years. Some waves were nine meters high along the east coast of Australia last week.
Taiwan has typhoons and huge waves on a regular basis. The engineers have a better design for anti-wave concrete blocks.
A design that has multi purposes. Best of all the blocks interlock with each other.
