09/06/2009: "VINTAGE UNDERWATER 35mm CAMERA"

Location: Thompson's Bay (aka Gordons Bay) near Clovelly. A popular Sydney dive site for rock hoppers. Picture was passed-by as a Nikon advertisement in Fathom (1972). Nikonos II was then the most popular underwater 35mm still camera, later replaced by versions III, IVa, and V. Today a collectors item worth about $500 if in very good condition.
