It would seem an ideal lifestyle to some. Living on the ocean, catching fish, living on coconuts and bananas.
Finding clean white sand is not automatic anywhere. The location here is about 100 km off the east coast of New Guinea. It was 1972. A tsunami later wiped out the tiny village.
